Enercon Training Academy has been conceived, structured and established as a world class Institution, with an ambience conducive to all round personality development of individuals. The idea of establishing the Academy germinated along with the commencement of the exponential growth of our company, which underlined the necessity of having expert technical personnel manning the WECs all across the expanse of our country. The facilities in the academy include the main academic block, comprising of well-ventilated spacious classrooms, a technical library and an Internet browsing room. In addition, a Simulator room and a Model room will provide a unique facility to enable imparting hands on practical training to our young technicians and Engineers. For our mechanical fitters, a workshop has also been established where they can hone their skills, practically needed for our WECs.

Apart from the above, facilities for physical fitness, to include a well equipped gymnasium, yoga training centre, a swimming pool, and requisite playgrounds for team games have been established in the second phase. A well-designed physical training curriculum is adopted such that each fresh trainee is transformed into an ever-vigilant man of tremendous physical strength and stamina, which is absolutely essential for his career in Enercon. It is an established fact, beyond any doubt, that there is a requirement of having highly motivated, physically fit, agile and technically sound/ proficient service teams, spread out all across the entire span of the country. It is these teams who are not only to ensure maximum availability of the WECs, but also make sure that they generate and operate at highest efficiency levels.

Our Commitment - The vision
The Enercon Training Academy will provide need-based training, to meet the Global Training requirements of Enercon Worldwide. The training will be contemporary, which will result in imparting focused knowledge leading to value addition to the attitude and skills of all trainees. This will ultimately lead to creativity in problem solving.
At the end of the training, ETA will ensure that all individuals are mentally awake, morally straight, physically fit and agile, fully motivated with a great sense of pride in the jobs being undertaken by them.
ETA will inculcate amongst all trainees, certain core values that are extremely essential for the nature of job that they have to undertake. These values include courage, innovativeness, integrity, loyalty and dependability.

Total Quality Management at ETA:

In order to attain thehighest levels oftraining standards,ETA has adopted theTQM concept. Thefoundation of“commitment” lies inthe well-conceivedvision; which acts as adriving force toachieve excellence intraining. Thisnecessitates the needto ensure that thetraining iscontemporary bykeeping ourselvestechnologically updated to meetfuturistic needs.

Having established the commitment, “Planning” is the next stage. This would encompass the design of need based training curriculum for well-defined technical behavior and scheduling of various training courses, keeping in view the required administrative support. The equipment training based on a systems approach, will adopt corrective measures emerged out of feedback, right at the planning stage.
Once planning is done, it’s execution, will ensure an efficient conduct of training, using models and simulators to ensure proper comprehension. Skills and competence enhancement will be a focus point, not only for the students, but also the staff for whom “Quality Improvement Programs” will be organized. Interview and counseling techniques will be used to ensure desired standards are achieved.
At the evaluation stage, the end product is compared to the laid down terminal behaviors, to analyze and adopt corrective measures, so that Total Quality Management objectives and commitments are attained and retained.

Apart from conducting tailor-made capsules for foreign students, separate training profiles are followed for technical personnel entering the folds of Enercon at different entry levels, to include ITI Certificate holders, Diploma Entry and Engineering Graduate Entry.
The levels of courses range from the basic entry-level course, upgrading capsules, diploma courses, the technical supervisors’ courses and the refresher capsules.
The range of equipment that is covered includes all Enercon WEC variants.
All training requirements for various departments of Production, Projects & Service of Enercon India Limited, are met by this Academy.
