Type Certifications

As per the guidelines of the MNRE, all turbine models ultimately have to have the Type Certification from a national / international accredited Certifying bodies. WRD coordinates with the designers in Enercon GmbH and the Certifying body. Based on the Type Certification and other parameters CWET, issues regularly the list of approved wind turbine models for operations in India which can be seen in the CWET website.
