Enercon (India) Limited has established in-house capabilities to undertake end-to-end installation and commissioning of wind energy converters in wind farms across the country. This unique and key strength ensures quality installations and successful commissioning of WECs.
With the installation and commissioning of over 4100+ WECs, generating over 2900 MW since 1994, this capability has been developed and enhanced over the years.
Today our Projects Installation team comprises over 1000 highly trained and skilled professionals, with diverse experience in disciplines like project management, mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil engineering etc. An extensive training program is in place to continuously enhance the skill levels.
We have developed In-house dedicated capabilities for installations comprising of a state-of-the-art fleet of LTM-1400s cranes. More cranes are being added continuously. At any point of time, we have over 100 cranes of various capacities deployed across country.
Our teams are experts in executing projects in extreme climatic conditions and very challenging terrain. From deserts of Rajasthan where temperatures range from below freezing poin to 50�C; and from the hills of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, to the coastlines of Gujarat.
Teams follow the best practices in safety and quality which are certified as per ISO 9001:2008 standards, with strict protocols and work instructions. We take pride in having an almost zero-accident record.
Innovations and fine tuning of drills, equipment and methodologies is an on-going process to ensure safer, faster and better installations for newer families of wind turbines, even in extreme wind and terrain conditions.
We have successfully installed over 800 wind turbines across India in FY 2010-11, which is almost double of previous year. We are continuously upgrading our capabilities to meet the qualitative and quantitative needs of highly demanding global customers.
