Mobile
Prefab Concrete Tower Manufacturing
For E-53 In India
|
| The
8000 square meter tent surface
is situated close to Jamnagar.
This is where, in the last
months, ENERCON's first
mobile prefab concrete tower
factory emerged. Arranged
in a figure eight, this
double tent measures 50
m in diameter through the
main section and is 36 meters
high. |
 |
|
 |
High
E-53 towers will be produced
here in 18 segments with
a 5.50 m base diameter and
a tower top diameter of
1.80 m.
For the tower factory, to
produce E-53 towers to be
erected in the state of
Gujarat and the neighbourhood
states, 200 workers are
employed.
This production solution
is just perfect! We now
have a production plant
which we can set up anywhere
in the world within a short
period of time. |

Our engineers have been trained at the production site at Fertigteilturmfertigung WEC Turmbau in Magdeburg and at various construction sites since February to gain experience in producing and mounting prefab towers.
Since there is almost no infrastructure in the Jamnagar region, transporting prefab towers is difficult. Some roads would even have to be stabilized.
The central point is a Liebherr pivot tower crane. It is used to distribute the concrete in the production area. A mobile concrete mixer is set up outside the tent. The mixer will also be used to provide concrete for the foundations. This way, a uniform quality of concrete for the foundations can be assured.
In addition, there is also an ice machine at the production plant. At high temperatures, it produces over 120 tons of ice per day to cool down the concrete.

|
| The water
for the ice maker cleaned in one
of ENERCON's own water treatment
plants. At the site, there is
also a 300 cubic meter water reservoir
in the first manually produced
tower base segments. |
